Renowned Cyber Scam Center Connected with Chinese Mafia Targeted
The Myanmar armed forces announces it has taken control of a key the most notorious scam compounds on the frontier with Thai territory, as it retakes key territory previously lost in the continuing civil war.
KK Park, located south of the boundary community of Myawaddy, has been linked with internet scams, cash cleaning and forced labor for the recent half-decade.

Those who managed to escape from it describe a harsh regime enforced on the countless people, several from African countries, who were held there, compelled to work extended shifts, with torture and physical violence inflicted on those who failed to reach quotas.
Latest Actions and Statements
A statement by the regime's information ministry said its forces had "cleared" KK Park, freeing more than 2,000 laborers there and taking possession of 30 of Elon Musk's Starlink communication devices – extensively utilized by deception hubs on the Myanmar-Thai frontier for digital functions.
The announcement blamed what it described as the "terrorist" KNU and volunteer resistance groups, which have been opposing the military since the takeover, for wrongfully holding the territory.
The regime's declaration to have shut down this infamous deception hub is almost certainly directed at its key backer, China.
Beijing has been pressuring the regime and the Thailand administration to increase efforts to terminate the unlawful activities run by Chinese networks on their border.
Previously in the year numerous of China-based employees were removed of deception complexes and flown on arranged aircraft back to China, after Thailand restricted availability to energy and fuel provisions.
