Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Popular California Shoreline
An aircraft soaring above a crowded California beach unexpectedly commenced twirling out of control, finally dropping height and smashing into a cluster of palm groves as onlookers looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media capture the chopper starting to spin over the shoreline then descending in the direction of the edge of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palms and a steps near the coastal road.

The Huntington Beach fire department reported five people were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” following the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Details on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
